The Smart Street Light Project

Solar-powered smart lighting, street by street — bringing safer nights and longer trading hours to Ajeromi‑Ifelodun II.

Why It Matters

Light is safety, and safety is dignity

Many streets across Ajeromi‑Ifelodun II — busy with traders, commuters and families after dark — went without reliable lighting. The Smart Street Light Project, facilitated by Hon. Sabur Akanbi Oluwa, is fitting solar-powered smart lights along key roads and streets, reducing crime risk, extending safe trading hours, and making evening movement easier for everyone in the constituency.

Each installation uses solar panels paired with elevated lighting fixtures, meaning the lights don't depend on the public power grid to stay on — a practical response to a real, everyday problem.
